KnobKraft Orm manual

Collect, find, organise and transfer patches for supported hardware synthesizers. Your database lives on the computer; your synth makes the sound.

Quick Start

New to KnobKraft? Start your first session with three short written lessons: connect your synth, understand the library, and import a bank.

Basic Concepts

A library patch, an import grouping, a user list and a hardware bank have different purposes. Your library and your synth explains the distinctions before you transfer anything.

Using this manual

Menu paths use Menu → Action. The initial edition covers the core 2.9-era librarian workflow, checked against release 2.9.0 UI source and current development source on 4 September 2026. Device support and transfer behaviour depend on your installed build and synth integration. These are source-reviewed instructions; they have not been rehearsed on every instrument.

Expected result describes what an operation should do. Device-dependent marks a capability you must check for your model. Before auditioning or sending, confirm the destination: the edit buffer send-mode label does not guarantee temporary storage on every synth.
